Connect + Baseline Recap
In our first session, we set group agreements, got to know each other, and shared our experiences and challenges with leadership, talked about our intentions for the program and prepared for talking about what makes a good leader.

What *is* a "Good Leader"? Recap
We discussed the characteristics of good leaders, defining good leadership and its impact. The team brainstormed various behaviors that contribute to positive and negative leadership. We also explored your leadership role models, the behaviors and characteristics you admire in those leaders, and the importance of self-reflection and growth in leadership. We closed by envisioning our best leader self.

What's holding you back? Recap
This session focused on understanding and managing the inner critic, its impact on leadership, and strategies to overcome self-doubt. Participants discussed their personal experiences with inner critics, explored techniques to identify and quiet these negative voices, and engaged in exercises to visualize and personify their inner critics. The group also touched on related topics such as setting boundaries, recognizing strengths, and the importance of self-awareness in leadership development.

Strengths, Values & Motivations Recap
Our session focused on exploring and managing inner critics, identifying personal values, and recognizing individual strengths in the context of leadership development. We discussed the experiences with inner critics and practiced techniques to manage them in the past week, while also engaging in activities to identify our core values and how these align with leadership. The group then shared personal stories to highlight their strengths, discussed the impact of values on decision-making, and received homework assignments to further refine understanding of values and strengths.
Connecting SVM Toolbox + Vision
The meeting began with team members discussing personal updates before delving into the concept of Success Architecture, which involved setting goals, mapping strengths, and identifying values for effective leadership. The team engaged in reflective exercises to explore their personal leadership styles, values, and strengths, with members sharing their insights and experiences. Finally, the group discussed the importance of balancing personal and professional goals, leveraging strengths and values to achieve them, and implementing practices to overcome personal barriers and facilitate growth.

Celebrate & Close
We started this session by sharing personal updates about upcoming time off and recent travel experiences. We dove into our leadership styles and approaches, exploring strategies for handling challenges in leadership, including managing pushback on expertise and improving adaptability in work situations. We identified key areas for growth in communication and team collaboration. The session concluded with a celebration and reflection about the program, sharing insights and experiences while planning to continue our leadership development journeys.

Who is this program for?Design YOUR Leadership style is for women anywhere on their leadership journey. Whether you're aspiring to be a leader, stepping into your first leadership role, or you've been leading for years, this program will help you be a more confident leader!

What's the time commitment outside of the sessions?We know you're busy! So, we'll do a lot of the work during the session, but we won't be able to get to everything. At the end of each session, we'll discuss "homework" designed to help you further the learning and start putting it into practice. You can expect to spend ~20-30 minutes outside the sessions on homework.

What if I can't make all 6 sessions?We definitely encourage you to attend every session that you can live...but we know that life happens! We will record each session and provide the links to the recordings each week. Recordings will remain available for 2 weeks after the end of the program.
