Did you know that only 8 % of CEOs of businesses in the S&P 500 are women? According to The CEO Magazine, men named John had greater representation than women in this cache of CEOs until recently, even though women make up more than 50% of the population, and men named John make up 3.7%.
With the potential that a woman may ascend to the highest leadership position in our country, this topic is in conversations everywhere. Let's discuss what it means to be a leader, what it's like to be a leader as a woman, and what gets in the way of having more women in leadership roles.
